I am a garden designer based in Pontrhydfendigaid, near Aberystwyth. I am known for my naturalistic and modern style gardens. With over 2 years’ experience and a Plant Biology degree I have developed a distinct style, experience and knowledge that is key to creating beautiful garden designs. The first meeting you will have an opportunity for you to describe your requirements, which can include plant selection, flowerbed borders, landscape architecture, budget, water features, etc.
The next meeting is a survey of the garden which includes ground levels, dimensions, existing features and plants and soil survey.
This design will show the placement of flowerbeds, lawn, vegetable garden, paths, fences, garden architecture, and water features. The plan will be illustrated with multiple sketches of the proposed changes to the ground levels. This is a chance for you to make final decisions and any possible changes to the plan. This process is to ensure that the design is heading in the right direction.
This plan will show everything up to scale with final features and details. This will include measurements for pathways, fences, flowerbeds, and any other features of the garden as well as a detailed list of plants and their placement. In addition, you will receive a plant maintenance plan and plant pricing. The final plan will be suitable for obtaining quotes for construction.
